At Elixir Philanthropy, we believe in the power of movement to transform not just bodies, but minds too. As we reach the final stages of our Move for Mind challenge with Mind charity, we're proud to share that our Motion for Emotion team has already raised an incredible £271 - and we're not done yet!

For 31 days, our dedicated team has been committing to 31 minutes of daily movement, each bringing their own unique energy and style to the challenge. The results? Not just funds raised, but a beautiful demonstration of how movement can unite communities and boost mental wellbeing.

Meet Our Movers

Annie Firth has been lighting up TikTok with daily Zumba sessions, streaming live and bringing infectious energy to screens across the platform. Her commitment goes beyond the 31-minute requirement, often dancing longer because, well, who can stop when the rhythm takes over?

Meanwhile, Ryan and Summer have been exploring a diverse range of activities that prove fitness can be both fun and family-friendly. From high-energy step aerobics to musical boxing sessions, and from weight training to hosting impromptu dance parties with their children they've shown that movement comes in many forms, and every single one counts.

More Than Just Exercise

What started as a fundraising challenge has evolved into something much more meaningful. We've discovered that these daily movement sessions aren't just good for our physical health - they're powerful mood boosters and stress relievers. The commitment to moving for 31 minutes each day has created a routine that supports both physical and mental wellbeing.

The Impact

Every step, dance move, and boxing punch contributes to something bigger than ourselves. The £271 raised so far will help Mind continue their vital work in supporting mental health across the UK. But perhaps equally important is the message we're sending: that taking care of our mental health can be active, engaging, and even fun.

Looking Forward

As we continue our fitness journey, one thing has become crystal clear - this isn't just a 31-day challenge for us. The positive impact of regular movement on our mental health has been so profound that many of us are committed to maintaining these habits well beyond the challenge.
