Position Overview:

As a Discord Game Night Host, you'll be responsible for organizing, managing, and facilitating engaging game sessions for our community members. This role combines community management, entertainment, and gaming expertise to create unforgettable social experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and host regular game night sessions on our Discord server

• Select and organize appropriate games for different group sizes and preferences

• Manage voice channels and Discord activities during gaming sessions

• Create and maintain an inclusive, welcoming environment for all participants

• Troubleshoot technical issues and assist players with game setup

• Moderate discussions and ensure community guidelines are followed

• Coordinate with other hosts to maintain a consistent schedule

• Provide feedback and suggestions for improving game night experiences

Required Qualifications:

• Extensive Discord experience and thorough understanding of Discord features

• Proven experience with popular online multiplayer games and Discord activities

• Excellent communication skills and native or near-native English proficiency

• Reliable high-speed internet connection and quality microphone

• Available to host at least 2-3 game nights per month

• Experience with community management or moderation

• Strong problem-solving abilities and conflict resolution skills

Desired Qualifications

• Previous experience hosting online events or streaming

• Familiarity with various gaming platforms (Jackbox, Among Us, Gartic Phone, etc.)

• Knowledge of Discord bots and server management

• Experience with tournament organization

• Background in entertainment or community building

Technical Requirements

• Stable internet connection (minimum 50Mbps download/10Mbps upload)

• High-quality microphone and quiet environment

• Capable PC/laptop for running games and Discord

• Ability to stream games when needed
